The European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) peptide safety working group conducted an industry-wide survey to capture the standard approaches that companies are using for the development of their therapeutic peptides and recommendations on what guidance documents could be updated to provide additional advice for peptide development programs. In this presentation, results of the survey will be presented in an effort to harmonize the toxicology programs implemented across pharmaceutical companies and the expectations from regulators. The findings of the survey will also help to guide the panel discussion topics.
